Value for money is also our focus so none of our bikes are overpriced expensive brands we offer only unique cool retro stream-lined ebikes.

We will be adding to our range over the coming months and plan to have some exclusive limited edition custom built bikes made to celebrate our 2021 launch, keeping one in our garage, as a future collector.

So these monkey e-bikes go back to bike frames from over 40 years ago, the rolling 1970’s and party fuelled 1980’s. Monkey bikes emulate brands like the Honda ST70, the Chopper, Tomahawk & Grifter.

These cutting edge brand new range of e-bikes and electric mopeds are strong, sexy and simple, some with real chrome bling. Our manufacturer brands use premium bicycle parts and electrical systems and branded batteries.

In the future you will be able to buy parts, upgrade accessories here; many of our ebikes will accept parts from elsewhere. In a nut shell these bike shapes are solid retro ‘tried and tested’ and will last you.

If it is looked after, even after you have replaced the battery, tyres and tubes, these retro monkey ‘amazing ebikes’ will continue to ride on into the future. Each bike we sell, in its own right, is worth owning.

All sales right now are either for in stock bikes or bikes out of our immediate own stock but that we can get the bike in to stock (if were not already doing) within a short time period. We are beginning our first run of sales right now and the option to allow our customers to only pay 20% deposit for orders will prove popular with some customers. We are able to offer direct delivery for multiple bike orders. We have built in time to achieve the delivery date we estimate just in case there’s a global pandemic or something.

There is a good chance it could come arrive before that time, we will always do our best to let you know. If sales go particularly well orders will be delivered wherever possible buy our own delivery team in the future, first bikes sold get shipped first; always.

Special editions will be hand delivered, only 5 bikes will be made as special editions.

A throttle of course an old word for whatever mechanism lets you get petrol into a motor engine. Those days are fleeting, but the word now means a twist mechanism on the handle bars, twist more go faster. On some bikes the throttle is a lever that you actuate with your thumb to tell the e-bike in this case to add more power to the motor propelling the e-bike forward i.e without you pedalling. So no not the same as Pedal assist which is what ebikes are all about, you pedal the motor helps you to go faster and so riding is much easier.

The Pedal e-bikes we offer are all Pedal Assist. A cadence sensor on the crank (round bit at the end of the pedals) measures how much you are pedalling and will add power to the motor to assist you according to your selection of 1-5 usually pedal assist levels, you pre-select this before setting off. So if you set the bike to level 5 then it will inform the motor to give you maximum assistance so you set off much quicker and maintain speed easily.

Moor EBikes offer cool ebikes to serve various riding styles & uses across a range of terrain; dirt, mud or tarmac UK roads. The issue of if ebikes are legal then legality refers to the use of an ebikes on UK roads and/or cycle lanes.

The 250w, 350w and 750w different motor sizes and battery configurations maximize the performance within different legal status envelops. The 250w is design to satisfy European & UK (among other countries) electric bicycle requirements (Euro L1E-a).

These 250w motor ebike are also for sale most commonly and are most suitable for novice riders or those who care more about weight and price rather than maximising the speed. The 350w is designed to maximize performance extending past the legal limits in UK, it may appear to be limited to 16mph but may fail interpretations of UK roads laws. It is considered to be a ebike more ready to ride anywhere, fly up any gentle slops off road with pedal assist help like any a regular bicycle only much easier and more comfortably.

The 350w ebike also has great power-to-weight ratio compared to all e-bikes on the market. The 750w is a ‘class above the rest e-bike’ and is only for sale for use off UK roads. These 750w are not for bike cycle lane and you would be noticeable faster than others.

It is the riders responsibility to remain legal. Although the bikes may appears no different to their cousin the 250w. In USA and UAE these bike class options don’t exist so one must understand fully the issues to remain problem free. This electric moped bikes we sell each have a rated power and then have legal classifications within the UK so you can reach a speed but not exceed it in within the regulations in UK. If you wish to try riding a 750w pedal assist ebike on lower power modes whilst pedalling using pedal assist to and remain below the 16mph, you do so your own risk, we accept no responsibility as we have clearly stated the bike is for off road use. As part of the user agreement and warranty, purchasers accept they understand and accept full responsibility to obey local UK road laws to ride safely.

E-bikes ebikes which ever way to type it doesn’t matter electric bikes are a rapidly growing market with approximately 200 million e-bikes already sold now and £5+ Billion predicted in sales of ebikes over the next few years, everybody is going e-power and so choosing  a two wheel urban cruiser is the way to do it..choosing a ultra cool retro ebike ride should definitely be a priority. Some want the latest patented new intelligent motor technology to take them even further. Electric is clean and so green and quick.

While the usual suspects are adding pedal assist to the same old bikes they have been selling, some for decades now, Moor EBikes are opening doors for fresh retro yet innovative perspectives on e-mobility and our collection of retro moto classic fun ebikes are all shapes that are trusted proven past formulas and across the world are already in massive high demand. At the moment the demand for eBikes is far exceeding supply all round the world and so smooth continuous stock flow is the most real and ongoing issue for any/all ebike suppliers, especially here in the UK where dumping taxes make Chinese bike brands more expensive than say in USA & where the market for manufacturer built ebike brands is just much bigger, some big brands in USA are unknown and or unavailable in UK.

Our vintage classic retro eBikes are each electric two-wheel experiences that turn heads, they are all fat tyre smooth riders to compliment your urban commute so as to turn any journey into an almost joyride. Our brands offer the buyer elegant solid e-bike that really does turns heads at every corner and we hope to be cutting-edge-retro in the growing UK ebike space.

Yes, all bikes are covered in a limited 1-year warranty. We want to keep all Moor EBike riders rolling at all times and we will do our best to support our growing community. We’re real riders and we’re reasonable too, we have 40 years of experience riding all types of bikes, from trials bikes to mopeds to mountain bikes to bmx to ultra-light roads bikes so we can see genuine buyers claims from the buyers stand point too. Many of these brands we supply are new ebike brands, from young growing companies that are continuing to develop all kinds of improvements either by extra parts, accessories, better motors and more. So yes parts and upgrades are available. We will be rolling these products out periodically as the brands add new bikes. While there may not be many parts in our store at the moment, additional or replacement batteries are available for purchase along with some retro helmets gloves and jackets. These ebikes utilize so many common bike parts that can be replaced, upgraded and swapped from parts found easily online or at any local bike shop. Please reach out if you have any questions.

At the moment, we are only shipping delivering all models to anywhere in the UK. Once Brexit is settled we will sell some bikes and parts to Europe and beyond but due to many logistical hurtles that we will face and will continue to face we have assessed shipping bikes to other locations at the moment based on an average of local taxes, duties, VAT, shipping prices, etc. and costs are quite high, so for now we are saying - No Sorry – we are not delivering to anyone outside the UK. Customers are able to arrange their own shipping overseas with international couriers whom pick up directly from our warehouse, were paid in UK sterling and we will simply hold the bike until your shipping company arranges the collection.

Yes we sell two brands of electric monkey bike with Fat 20 x 4” tyres  and so yes we can supply your monkey new ebike complete with a choice of slicks or knobbly tyres whichever you prefer. We will be continuing to develop all kinds of improvements either by tyres, accessories, options, better motors and more in coming months.

Yes we can supply you with a cool as electric monkey bike complete with white wall retro 20 x 4 road slick tyres, classic white whilst not the most practical to keep clean does give the ebike a real extra bling factor. White wall fat boy riders these wide white wall tyres on bikes offer a really comfortable road ride smoothing out all the bumps and riding over pot holes.

You do not need insurance for any pedal assist bike, but you may want to take some out anyway to offer peace of mind. The Electric mopeds are more powerful and require a V5 number plate and on the road insurance with zero road tax of course.

Amazingly these ebikes cost literally pennies to recharge the batteries so per mile you are talking a few pence per mile is very realistic.

The electrical system is its own unit and water & electricity do not mix, we are available for any questions or troubles you may have, warranty or not. Apart from the motor and the battery plus a little bit of wiring the rest of the pedal assist ebikes are as easy to service as any regular bike – crankset, headset, wheels, brakes, fork, handlebars, etc – are all almost the same as any other normal pedal bike and should be serviced by any reputable bike shop/mechanic. Unfortunately, there is some resistance to electric bikes out there as well as some straight-up bad bike shops just wanting to over-charge you because it is an ebike your bringing in.
